Emeralds are one of the four ancient precious stones, along with Diamond, Ruby and Sapphire. A green variety of the mineral Beryl, the dark green colour of Emeralds is caused by trace elements such as Chromium. They are often full of beautiful dark inclusions, called Jardin, French for garden.

These precious stones are said to focus intentions and raise consciousness. They are associated with deep inner knowing, vision, expressing yourself and bringing unconscious knowledge to light.
