The Empress Deck is a glittering, fantasy-themed oracle card deck for use in divination, 5th Edition D&D and other fantasy role playing games. Based on the world of Dungeons & Dragons, this indie oracle deck was beautifully illustrated in 2020 by artist Brenda Ho and produced by the ENNIE award-winning team at Weird Works. It is a spiritual predecessor to the cyberpunk fantasy Eldritch Overload Tarot.

Please note that this is not a traditional Rider-Waite-Smith Tarot deck and is not structured with a conventional Major and Minor Arcana. Instead, this deck uses an original cartomancy system that can be read intuitively, like an oracle deck, and is described with divination meanings in the included guide booklet. As this deck is made to function as an alternative initiative system for D&D, not every card has a unique design, however there are colour variations to tell them apart.

  • 103 oracle cards, 2.75" x 4.75" (70mm x 120mm) standard tarot size
  • Unique gold foil embossed designs on each card
  • Ultra-thick 130lb (350 gsm) cardstock with anti-scratch lamination
  • Includes a small oracle reading guide booklet
  • Gold foil stamped sturdy two-piece box with matte finish
