Azurite in K2 Granite, also known as Raindrop Azurite or K2 Jasper, is a rare form of Azurite found only in the mining region around K2, the second highest mountain on Earth. While often sold as K2 Jasper, the stone is in fact a white/grey granite with soft drops of Azurite. K2 has a strongly grounding energy due to its granite base while also being a very high vibration crystal. It is said to help access the Akashic Records.

Azurite is named after the colour ‘Azure’ and was used to create a deep blue pigment for painting by many civilisations, including the ancient Egyptians and the Europeans during the Middle Ages. Azurite was prized by the ancient Mayans for developing their psychic abilities, and the Egyptians used it to aid spiritual communication.
